Below is a small list of animals with what they are called. With each animal the names of the female, male and young animals are given for each animal
Dog
Dogs make great family pets.
Male dog are called dog and female dogs are called bitch, young dog is a puppy.
Cat
Male cat is called a tom and female is a bitch, young cat is a kitten.
Pig
Male pig is called a boar and female is a sow, young pig is a piglet.
Bird
Male bird is called a cock and female is a hen, young cat is a chick.
Snake
Male snakes are called a male and female are called female, young snake is a snakelet.
Duck
Male duck is called a drake and female is a chick, young duck is a duckling.
Elephant
Male elephant is called a bull and female is a cow, young elephant is a calf.
Giraffe
Male giraffet is called a tom and female is a bitch, young giraffe is a kitten
Crocodile

Tiger

What noises do some animals make?
Bees = buzz.
Cats go miaow and when they are happy they purr.
Dogs bark or go woof woof and growl when they're angry.
Ducks = quack.
Pigs oink grunt or squeal.
Snakes = hiss.
Elephant = trumpet
Lion = roar
