Small list of Irregular verbs learning English basics
How to use the irregular verb list
This is a small list of irregular verbs to help you when you are unsure if a verb is irregular.
What is an irregular verb?
An irregular verb is when a verb does not end with the normal -ed when used for the Past Simple and Past Participle forms and even irregular verbs will not change at all.
Regular verbs will add -ed or -d
In the English language, regular verbs will add -ed (or -d if the end with the letter 'e') when you need to form the past tense and past participle.
The English language has a lot of irregular verbs, which don't add -ed or -d to the end of the verb
Some irregular verbs do not change at all, while others change completely, or they can even change letters in the middle.
