Different way to say sorry 

Please forgive me for the mistake I made.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to do that.    Is used when you made a mistake with what you were trying to do
Excuse me.  This is not used to say sorry. Use this is a polite way of asking someone to move in they are in your way.
Pardon me. Use pardon me when you need to interrupt someone talking to another person can be used the same as“excuse me
I owe you an apology. It was me who had the keys.

Things to do when you are sorry

If it is a lady give them flowers.
You could make them a coffee or tea.
Can give a bottle of wine to a man or women.
If they are not answering there phone leave an apology using the  phone answering machine or send them a text.
You could send them  an e-card (online card).
