The first part of the lesson you will learn how to measure your body for clothes. To finish the lesson you will learn how to take measurements of your body.
How to measure your body for clothes?
What do I need to measure my body?
To measure any part of your body use a taylors tape.
How to measure body parts?
Thigh: You need to measure around the largest part of your thighs.
Calves: You need to measure around the largest part of each of your calfs.
Upper arm: You need to measure around the largest part of each arm (must be above the elbow).
Forearm: You need to measure around the largest part of each arm (must be below the elbow).
Neck: To measure your neck put the tape around the largest part of the neck.
Knee: Measure just above the knee.
Hips: Always measure the biggest part.
Midway: The midway is between the largest part of your hips and your waist.
Waist: Always .measure where it is the smallest. If you have "no waist" then measure your self the navel lin
Chest: Start measuring right under your breasts and as high up as it is possible keeping the tape measure level all the way round your chest and pack.
Bust: You need to measure all the way around your bust / breast on level with your nipple line making sure the tape does not go any lower.
