Investing money for profit

Investing is when you have to commit money or capital so you can gain a financial profit / gain. There are a lot ways to invest your money. There are a lot of risks involved with investing money and is not always you will make money. It is best to get advice from a professional or study yourself and gain a good knowledge of what you are investing into.

Here are some possible questions to ask when talking about investments.

Can you me some information about bonds?
Can you tell me about stocks and shares and the stock market?
What are mutual funds?
Has the company been in business for a long time?
What will I be investing in?
What are the risks involved in this investment?

What fees will I have to pay?

What are bonds?

a bond is basically a loan. After you buy a bond, you are lending money to the organization that has issued the bonds. The company,will in return, will promise to pay you interest payments for however long the length of the loan / bond is. what you get paid and how much paid interest will depend on the terms of the bond that was agreed.

What are mutual funds?

A mutual fund is when a company pools all the investors' money to enable to make multiple types of investments.

Stocks and shares

A share of stock is when you share the ownership of a company with many people. If you buy a share of stock, then you will be entitled to a fraction of the assets and what earnings the company makes. Assets are everything that the company owns (buildings, equipment, trademarks), and what profits the company makes .
