What will I learn from the English lesson Reading and writing practise?

During this English lesson you will read a short story then answering some questions that are relating to the story. By the end of the lesson you will have practised reading and writing skills.

Walking in the rain

Jumnaer is from Thailand, and she loves the rain. Her husband Ralph is from England, and he hates rain as it always rains where he lives in Manchester. Sometimes when it rains, Jumnaer asks Ralph to walk around the local park with her. Ralph tries is best to be agreeable when Jumnaer wants to go for a walk in the rain, but he really doesn’t like it. Jumnaer thinks it’s romantic, but Ralph thinks it’s crazy getting wet! He would rather stay inside and go on Facebook, play angry birds on is mobile phone, and drink hot coffee. But he loves Jumnaer very much, so when it rains he puts on is rain jacket and walks around the local park with her. Ralph smiles and carries the umbrella for is wife.
